Start of Chapter 6
I am not feeling the chemistry between these two at all. There is apparently a fine line between hate to love you and hate you and they seem to be more "hate". I just don't see the connection

Narrator was another issue. She had some great voices and parts, but I didn’t like the way she did male voices, and sometimes she went up and down 3 octaves in one sentence to show emotion. Just too all over the place—very distracting

2 1/2-3 stars. Reread as audible escape. Since it was an audible, I didn’t skim. I now don’t feel for sure this couple will make it. h was too immature, and there wasn’t a lot of good times between couple.

I had a hard time moving on from the way the hero was introduced, and it is really different than the way his character later develops. Is it someone required in sports romance that the quarterback be a player? Ugh. But I really like him after, and there is so much that is different about this book that I can work to forget the first scene. The heroine is annoying me a bit, though, because she's sorta a hot mess.

I’m really liking this! :)
