Status Updates From The Silent Children

Okay, 2/3 in and this book found its pace and I had to force myself to stop for today. I haven't been exactly surprised by the twists so far but the story is flowing so well that it doesn't bother me.

I'm finally on my two weeks Christmas break (yay!). Hopefully I'll finish this tonight.

Okay, 2/3 in and this book found its pace and I had to force myself to stop for today. I haven't been exactly surprised by the twists so far but the story is flowing so well that it doesn't bother me.

This is a good read so far, but I'm having a hard time picturing the main character. The story is told in 1st person, and the narrator sounds younger than he is a lot of times.

"Despite the lingering scent of my mother's jasmine perfume, the permanence of her absence infiltrated the house, its corners, its eaves, floating in and around me, until I felt its chilled embrace."

Really liking this, very spooky, the storm outside might be helping too...
