two of the stories I couldn’t finish 💀

So, can anybody explain to me how a crack feign who "don't know water or soap"; who only knows two simple phrases, knows how to creep his way into an establishment and an exact violence on innocent people? To me, it confirms the idea that men/addicts are inherently violent and nobody really wants to believe that.

Would I be wrong if I said that these stories were irrelevant? None of these are giving what we'd want them to give and it's unnecessarily triggering. After suffering through Reverend Moreland's background story, we get to see C.C. Baker again. I can't hide my level of pissitivity, because the whole thing with his stepbrother does nothing to help explain the violence he exacted upon poor Lorraine in "The Women. . ."
