I’m truly enjoying reading this book as the current times were in and the current times I am personally in. But I am also really in love with the way that the author describes Hope and I would not say that it is something that I have forgot. I would say that it is something that I have not been able to properly put into words on my own, but it has always been my philosophy that Hope is not a guarantee. It is work.

I’m actually listening to a revised edition of Solnit’s 2005 book called Hope in the Dark: Untold Histories, Wild Possibilities.
