Status Updates From The Third Twin

5 Types of Conflict: The Third Twin is a character vs. character book, Alexa vs. Ava. It is revealed that Ava was the one who has been systematically killing all of Alicia's ex-boyfriends of the years at the end of the book. Alexa and Ava have been back and forth, outwitting eachother, and trying to get the other one down and get on top. Alexa has to get the evidence to show the police Ava did the killings, not her.

The 7 Story Archetypes: The book is about overcoming the monster. Throughout the book, Ava and Alexa have been followed by a stalker that keeps killing all of their boyfriends when they go out as Alicia. As the story unfolds, the cops have been envolved with these murders and Alexa is the main suspect because of the weird circumstances. I believe that Alexa is going to uncover the stalker and overcome them.

Visualize: It is only the two of them(Alexa and Casey) behind the Cheesecake Factory, Casey lets his dark side out when he takes advantage of her. As the reader starts to realize what is unfolding, we can feel how desperate she is, to the point where she bites him and the author makes us feel the taste of it. "I'm clenching my teeth so hard they grind against my upper lip, and I taste the metallic tang of blood."

Inciting Incident: On Sunday Alexa and Ava's see a news report about a man dead, described exactly where her and Casey had a fight and with the features of Casey. "I saw that story already. A boy was found dead early this morning in the parking lot of the Cheesecake Factory." This sets up the rest of the book because only him and Alicia were behind that Cheesecake Factory, so, how would he be killed?

Characterization: Alicia is the "3rd" twin of Ava and Alexa. She is said to be a confident and outgoing not afraid to go out with a guy. Alexa is talking to a guy that Ava already dumped, and as hes leaving, she thinks about what Alicia would do. "Alicia would probably put her hand on his arm, brush the soft skin of his wrist with her finger." This shows Alicia as a girl who flirts and is not scared of repercussions.
