Status Updates From The Outsider

I know I read this probably 15-20 years ago, but re-reading it because 1. I don't remember it well, so it'll feel fresh and 2. I was craving a good classic historical romance and you can't go wrong with Williamson.

The number of times Rachel has been startled and dropped something on the floor…it’s enough slices.

Need to know if Williamson ever read Tom & Sharon Curtis’ “Sunshine and Shadow.” I’m thinking yes.

“Let me kill him for you, Rachel.” I know Rachel doesn’t approve but, swoon.

I love a book that starts with a man swooning.

This book is an epic saga with so many characters I can’t even remember who they are. But it’s also beautiful

Williamson jumps to a bunch of different POVs but never the heroes? An interesting choice!

what a strange and interesting book! Not perfect, but this is more aligned with what I wanted from Hummingbird by LaVyrle Spencer than I ended up getting
