Status Updates From The Blessing of Humility

I appreciated the detail on meekness and how practically we can reflect the meekness of Christ toward others— a point I have found left out often in other teachings on humility.

Love the forward-looking perspective on persecution for us in the West; and the acknowledgement that we should always seek to respond with humility toward those ho hurt us.
“We gain a true perspective of our own suffering when we realize how much more our persecuted brothers and sisters are going through” (82).

All of the blessings of humility flow from being poor in spirit. Really simple but profound explanation of the beatitudes. Wish I had read this sooner.
