god i got to the part again where the author talks about liking being clocked as a man in public because it gets them better treatment and respect. my brother in christ it's true but doesn't it make you angry. doesn't it make you want to go apeshit. isn't it infuriating to watch misogyny at play from the other side of the line. don't you want to throttle people.

The way this is probably THE book on butches and butchness I think and it's only 170 pages, SO slim. And this was published in, what, 2006? Great heavens.
