I never read any of the Polly O'Keefe books when I was growing up and I planned to read all the Kairos series this year so I've been diligently making my way through. I began Lotus and, as far as writing style is concerned, it's pleasant enough, so I casually came to Goodreads to see what folks generally think of the book and I was shocked to discover how polarizing it is! Interested to see how I feel about it...
