Status Updates From The History Boys

Finished act 1, a little more pretentious than i was expecting but its ok, i wanted to read this book for a long time and i can always reread if i want to process better, although i think its the extracts of history im not processing rather than the actual play. I did think it would be heavier on the boys witty banter but i enjoyed those parts at least, Gonna keep going

“The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. Now here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out and taken yours.” 💛
