Status Updates From Desființarea omului

If I thought section 1 of this 3 parter was hefty? I was not prepared! C.S. Lewis uses many words I've yet to find in the thesaurus to wax poetical about on the war progressive ideals and supposed unattached logic want to wage on the "parasitic growth of emotion" and religion. He takes a devil's advocate approach here that I think he does better (or in a more relatable way at least) in his Screwtape Letters.

“You cannot go on ‘seeing throughm things forever. The whole point of seeing through something is to see something through it… It’s no use trying to ‘see through’ first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To ‘see through’ all things is the same as not to see.”
