19. Everyone will be tested. Mo talked about losing all of her money in the 1980s. She talked about her dream home burning down at 90% completion. She talked about “building altars” in her mind like Abraham’s altars of remembrance.

20. Connecting the dots. Take the time to look back and see how the big picture came together. Even the little things can be part of the grander.

17. Love your neighbor. Perfect timing. Great conversations with multiple neighbors in the neighborhood yesterday! lol. Be a Good Samaritan to all.

18. Keep relationships for life. Jody Burns keeps our college group together! Hooray for her! I’ve been meaning to text some high school friends. Guess I better do that now!!

15. Profits matter. Respect the wealthy - like Andrew Carnegie - giver of libraries!

14. Tough love leader: Have a velvet hammer. Handle conflict immediately. Children and adults need boundaries. Boundaries make them feel secure when they know the rules. Use the three strikes in your out philosophy. She calls hers a tough Love sandwich. Positive. Negative. Positive.

11. Set High Standards: I liked MO’s example of her grade school music class going to the symphony. She has them practice listening to the music, has them dress up and then threatened them. Lol. But they listened, unlike the other kids!

A little competition never hurts, either.
