So far has been interesting. He has spent a good amount of the book setting the scene for the Second World War with imperialism being one of the primary motivators. He has emphasized, among may things, that the Treaty of versailles effectively cut off Germany from being considered as a major imperial nation and allowing people such as Hitler and Mussolini to use that rhetoric in stirring their citizens to action.
