Status Updates From 鮮血迷宮 (Ghost Hunt惡靈系列, #5)

Finished ch. 8. My terrible memory astounds myself. How could I have forgotten that the shadiness was the real reason for accepting the case? Also, just when it seemed like it’s over, someone went missing, cutting pretty close to the end, too! Totally wasn’t expecting it. Bravo!

Finished ch. 7. My memory is truly horrible, I can't believe this work mentioned a notorious historical serial killer whom I later learned from another series! If this info was adapted into the manga, I clearly failed to retain it. Oh, and deaths confirmed (for now). (That said, somehow this was 100000 times scarier in my memory lmao. I guess I'm just not very imaginative and heavily rely on visuals to frighten me.)

Finished ch. 6. Another disappearance. Also an apparent vision of someone’s last moment before their murder. Urgh. Glad I’m not reading this at the dead of the night lmao.

Finished ch. 5. Creepily structured seemingly haunted house is the worst when it's revealed to be related with a hospital lmao. That, and the endless remeasuring, my poor crew!

Finished ch. 4. More disappearances. You know, the odd thing is I was really really effectively scared when I read the adaptation, but due to my poor memory, I sort of assumed someone has died in the cases, and so far that has not happened. Wonder if this volume would be the first, since it provided so many additional characters.

Finished ch. 3. Oh, the measurement "unmatching" part, this I remember clearly. Gives me the creeps. Still, really did not recall all those seemingly fake practitioners.

Finished ch. 2. Still sidetracked. Some long overdue personal background info revealed. Wonder if there's any significance in sharing it relatively late. Glad our group found the people I find shady suspicious lol. Oh, really would have been nice were there illustrations. Would like to see the map.

Finished ch. 1. Got a little sidetracked because I was mentally preparing myself, since I remember this being the scariest case to date. I honestly don't remember that many additional characters. The identity swap and one seemingly impersonation? Those, I also don't recall. Or I think I do a little with the impersonation one but didn't remember it happened in this case. Urgh, now I really want to revisit the manga.
