On my son’s Year 2 list last year but didn’t fit in our timetable. My upcoming Year 5 and 3 are reading independently this summer. Noticed it is filled with some stories we’ve read in other compilation of stories before such as the Flower Fables and others but some fresh stories as well. Stories worth reading over and over again!

I love Louisa May Alcott's writing, and this group of children's stories is delightful. I am reading them one of two at a time. She wrote stories that would intrigue children, but dealt with things children need to know and correct in their behaviors. She didn't knock things down the children's throats. The stories helped teach lessons, while entertaining the children.

I love Louisa May Alcott's writing, and was so pleased to find this collection of her short children's stories. The stories are so imaginative, and deal with things that help a child in her the thinking or actions. Lovely stories like dolls coming to life.
