Status Updates From Torchship

I had dropped this for a while and picked it up again. I like the hard sf stuff. I'm not sure I'm liking the characters, as far as their morality goes. I guess it's like a gritty Firefly ship? I'm at this part where there's a lot of details about taking a group of people back to earth. I'm interested in libertarianism a little bit. Maybe I'm forgetting some important details from earlier parts. No short chapters
