First 3/4 was pretty damn impressive. Last 1/4? Saccharine and boring. No tension. OOC melodramatic emo responses from the one "brute" character. I would try another book by Ethan, though.

More and more, I realize why I was so .Immensely. Zoned in to LGBT stories years ago. My passion, which continues to this day, began the same time I was rejected by my religiouso parents for finally owning myself. Many of the struggles with hateful responses LGBT ppl deal with are the similar to what I dealt with. Second, sexuality is a big deal for exploring, since it was so incredibly repressed since forever.

This book does one thing super amazing: I relate to both men's struggles with their parents' rejection. It echoes for me.

This was really good, but now it's just okay. It's still got a heck of a lot of loveliness and truths to it, but the love expression is a bit ridiculous at times. No, Fella, it IS the uber-strict Christian upbringing and judge mental, harsh isolation that caused your guilt and emotional struggles, not the fact that no one was right until Rafe.
