Status Updates From The Rain in Portugal

I think im starting to understand poetry. Because there is something so relaxing about reading a few poems on my lunch break, sat in my car with the windows down because its finally starting to feel like spring and the sun is out and its warm out.

I'm usually not one for poetry but I picked this book up from a shop in the middle of Boston and it's the most I've ever enjoyed a poetry collection. It also pairs really well with Orbital, the other book I got from Boston, at least to me. Orbital gives me the view from space and The Rain in Portugal gives me the snapshots from back on the ground.

I think I’m a fan!
