-_- Another disappointing read from my Top 10 Anticipated Young Adult Books of 2017. Yikes. I'm starting to get nervous about the others. At least Shadow Run by Adrianne Strickland & Michael Miller had some things to offer.

Summoner Rising was soulless sad YA paranormal drivel. So much potential wasted.

Oh, dear. It sounded so original before but the immediate love triangle setup and . . . ugh. This feels typical. In fact, I feel Twilight setup vibes. -_-

I couldn't understand Dacie. Why did she never start asking questions? And why would nobody say?
Still, I think I want to know. When's the second book out?

I don't understand what's going on here. They ask her to be responsible about her powers, yet never told her what it all means.
And then there are the other things that are sooo obvious

Good story. Much seems familar. And some lacks description. But I like it. Good and easy read
