Status Updates From Dune Audio Collection

I question why these are the chosen passages? I legit don’t recall them from dune and yet at the same time they’re not indicative to the narrative

I can tolerate a whole range of sped up speeds but like why is this utterly ridiculous and so fast paced in itself? Plus Frank Herbert doesn’t introduce each scene/give any form of context and I’m so confused??

Interesting to hear the author himself read some of the scenes. I didn’t know what i was getting with this, but it’s all right. Nice to relive key moments, and his own touch on reading a few things was great.
