This book is making my cry for the second time today. Emotionally constipated men always get to me + sibling relationship drama. send help

Had potential. Ended up being just ok. Missed the mark in addressing Colin’s mental health issues and past assault. Ended up just glossing over anything that could have added depth by going with the sex solves everything route. Didn’t resolve relationships with family and Colin was just conveniently let off the hook by Daniel.

Ummm this guy is so far in denial that he thinks his problem with Daniel is that he couldn’t protect him. Like brooooo you were his main tormentor. Not only didn’t you protect him, you’re the one who made his life hell.

Definitely like this book better than the first but one gripe that’s stuck out is that a distraction (sex) will solve Colin’s mental health issues? Like umm no that guy needs actual help. Maybe it’ll get there?
