Status Updates From Chroniken der Unterwelt (Ch...

11:11am as i write this MIND YOUUUU !! i am 65% done with book 3 and i'm innn itttt !!! i got a little distracted reading last night and kinda already forgot what i read but it's not hard to remember as the characters recall events, anyways the romance plot is sooo juicy and good omg and the familial drama is DRAMAA-INGGG, basically i'm living my best life and can't wait to keep reading the rest of the series !!

update pt. 2: there was a lot of action in this book, especially in the last third, and our relationships are buildinggg i live !! familial drama and lore is definitely being alluded to but we don't get the full answer yet which i love, and i really enjoyed the writing of this book !! i think i enjoyed reading this one the second time around but idk bc i dont remember !! lol anyways, moving on to book 3 asap !!

FINISHED BOOK 2 🥳 this one was a lot more plot heavy i would say, it was ever so slightly harder to follow, but still worth reading and there were really great moments !! the love triangle is officially over but now we've moved onto the "they both love each other but she told him they shouldn't be together when he wanted to and now he finally agrees they shouldn't be together but now she wants to" trope lol

finally reading for the first time in a week !!! i feel right back at home w these characters and in this world, i deeply care about what happens to them 😭 i can't wait to read every single book clare has written !!!!!!!!!!

60% done with book 2 !! loving the love triangle and the angst and the banter and everythingggggg !! this book's plot is a smidge less organized than book 1 but i'm still enjoying myself !! i took a break for a bit to read another book that was absolute SHIT so it feels amazing to be back in this world again <3

"'You are mortal; you age; you die... If that is not hell, pray tell me, what is?'"

just finished book one !!! very excited to keep going and just overall loved my reading experience, even the second time around !! i think i'd rate it like a 4 or a 4.5 reading it the second time around :D lets go book twwooooo

loveeee a high-tension argument scene where they say something they'll regret UGH it's too good... also the love triangle is startingggggg eeeeeekk !

im sorry but i love the trope of an angsty teen group who all have flirty banter with each other no matter the gender like yessss !! when done right tho..

currently reading: book 1, page 188 - i'm loving my reread experience so far !! it's come at a perfect time in my life, serving as a beautifully divinely timed distraction <33 i'm enjoying when i'm remembering future things that happen in the series and i'm just enjoying being back in this world with these characters. even through the cheesy moments i love these characters !!
