Status Updates From Taming the Beast

Wow, this book is so good! It reminds me of My Dark Vanessa. It’s dark, unsettling, and deeply psychological — beautifully written, poetic, & emotional.

It dives deep into Sarah’s mind as she struggles to make sense of her life after a sexual relationship with her teacher. The story explores how that relationship shaped her, broke her, and blurred her sense of self. It’s disturbing, raw, and incredibly powerful.

Pre-read: This month was such a letdown, and I’m pretty sure I’m in a reading slump. Hopefully we can end this month with a decent, book.
