It was also fascinating to see how Bennett criticised Georgian writers and she criticised his for their creation of character. Just to see how different generations consume and have opinions on different literature was really interesting! I was definitely inspired to think more about the characters I create and how I could go about doing this differently.

Okay so why did I find this essay really fascinating?! I read it for part of my personal statement research and it was actually so interesting! Wolfe basically talks about how character is created within literature and how she believes every believable character is inspired by a ‘Mrs Brown’ (source of inspiration).
