I think this is a good introduction to the topic for young people. It does not shy away from the truth, but avoids describing anything to graphically. That being said if you are older and have read memoirs about the Holocaust, this one is probably not going to introduce you to anything new.

This book is so good! So far I’ve learned a lot about the holocaust and how the Germans treated the Jews.

The book is super good but also super sad. Elly was separated from her mom and brother.

This book so far is just saying wat Elly’s young childhood was like.
