This book is an exercise in literary acausality. Seeming non sequiturs that are nothing shy of comical become central aspects of the text itself. It can actually be sort of delightful when you think of it as a lecture from a clown, who will occasionally drop the seriousness to put on an act that demonstrates their point better than words can.
