Status Updates From Jonathan Strange & pán Norrell

J’entame ENFIN la 3 eme partie et je ne parviens tjs pas à savoir si j’aime ou pas cette lecture car très exigeant et aucune idée quant à la direction finale du récit

Super fun Lord Byron cameo

I’m now skim reading each chapter and using a blog that someone has written many years ago that summarises each chapter so that I can know the highlights. It is such tedious reading even Charles Dickens books had pace. The enormous amount of characters is also off putting. Most of all, I just don’t care for either Strange nor Mr Norell.

Onto page 559. Into the third and final volume. To be honest, I wanted to put this book down many times. Now I don’t even read the extensive footnotes just to get through it all and get to the ending. Can’t wait to have this story wrapped up. It’s way way too long.

Still reading and still loving thissss
