Studying pure math felt a bit like navigating a room full of furniture with a bucket on my head. Where am I/where is this going? I wish someone had shown me this book when I was studying logic and set theory. It’s clear, well written and the motivation for the ideas is given. Its stated purpose is to get the reader to where they can read monographs in the field so it’s got enough meat on the bone.
