God, he was sexy even when he wasn’t trying to be, and ten times as sexy when he was. If I didn’t keep my head on straight, I could totally see myself being his bitch twenty-four seven. Frankly, I believed I had too much man pride for that shit, but still, one couldn’t be too careful.

That's shit tons of sex! Book 5 is sure saturated with sex. It's all hot and stuff but I am now hoping the remaining 35% will have some story progression.

Why does he always gets bullied? And he takes it from everyone, be it demons or humans. It's frustrating cos he is a cop.

I feel like if Adriel was an non participating party I would like him.
If he just popped in helped Brian deal with his issues and then left. I would like him. But no. He is butting in where he doesnt belong.

Brian is terribly inept and doesn't even manage to properly take out a single demon. Now he has become the damsel in distress - again. There is too much female influence in this "book".

It's getting boring. Brian is being a waffle, and the implication that females are automatically the submissive partner in sex because they are not the penetrative party is eye rolling. Not to mention the fact that Adriel pops up to command Brian each time he is being a waffle. Way to go on moving forward with the program imaginatively.
