I didn't read nearly as much on the way back from Hell as I thought I would, but what should've been a 2 or 3 hour drive turned into a 5 hour drive, so I had to navigate for a while to find where we wanted to be, and I got so tired by the time we found ourselves that I didn't want to read anymore, I just wanted to nap.

Um, 15 pages in and there's been enough talk about vomit that I feel like I should be working in a hospital. Zombies are nowhere near my favorite genre. In fact I kind of hate everything zombie except for Zombieland and 28 Days Later. I just think zombies are overdone, and rarely done well.

Having said that... I already like this, a lot.

Umm, this was quite the novella! I loved the first person pov and the way it presented. Not your typical post-apocalyptic piece and the originality will carry it far. Can't wait to read more by this pair!
