Of the entire selection I felt there was only one that was memorable and am surprised Laurie King wasn't one of contributors having attached her name as a collaborator. This is embarrassing to Sir Arthur in my opinion. A short 2 star review tomorrow

Very disappointing story by WKK. Hard to fathom a 10 year old boy with high IQ whose dialog is PhD level no less one who thinks he's Sherlock. Oh well

The Adventure of the Dancing Women, is a clever application of Conan Doyle. A contemporary period, the author uses Annabelle Homes in place of Sherlock and a female Watson as her sidekick. The mystery is a spin on original stories and engaging as well

The Spiritualist, is quite interesting. The story centers around Conan Doyle who thanks to a past wife finds interest in the paranormal having lost relatives and more. And who of all people shows up during the night? His most famous character Mr Holmes. Nicely done and worth reading

Dana Cameron does a top notch job with Where there is Honey. A fast paced episode of Holmes and Watson filled with intrigue, mystery and of all things, a gun battle that includes Mycroft! The game was truly afoot!

The third story is much to my liking. The author does a terrific job of emulating Doyle using Watsons POV we're immersed in a case of importance. As typical Holmes says, " Haste now Watson. The game is afoot!" Classic Sir Arthur Conan Doyle speak

The first story is entertaining but not at the level of Conan Doyle though he IS a character along with the librarian, Holmes and Watson!

For all the John Connolly fans, he does a brilliant job writing the first story which is unique to say the least. It reminds me of the Will Ferrell movie, Stranger then Fiction, but in place of an IRS agent Holmes, Watson and Moriarty are brought to life when Doyle kills them off in his final book
