Status Updates From My Hero Academia, Vol. 1

Excuse me while I go cry in a corner

Just read the line where All Might tells Izuku, “you can become a hero,” and then Izuku says, “I forgot to mention this but this is the story of how I became the greatest hero.”
I’m sobbing

Ive probably read a little over a quarter and every time All Might says “I am Here,” I cry a little. Current count is around 4 and I sobbed when I finally read the part where Izuku tells Katsuki, “you looked like you needed saving.”
There’s just so so many parallels between the first volume and the last that it’s giving me a visceral reaction.
