Also, having been a medical filing clerk in Denver 4 years before this book was written, I know there is no way, no how she could have gotten even a cardboard BOX apartment in Capital Hill with her salary. Even if she's working part time as a nail tech...from her home...when she isn't yet certified...so much illegal stuff for someone who seems so anxious and rigid. Okay, I think that's all for now.

Wait, wait, wait. She's a medical filing clerk and she's going back to school to be a nail tech?! Why would you go through all that stress for a job that probably pays comparable to what she's making, but no benefits, and a precarious market?

This is my first KA book, are all of her heroine's melodramatic balls of anxiety who "freak out" constantly over the smallest thing? I can't relate when people are like that....I'm definitely into Knight though and enjoy the book otherwise.

He hasn't heard of the name Anya before?! Pssh, say you haven't watched Buffy the Vampire slayer without saying it, man!

Ugh, I get it. You aren’t poor but you can’t afford to buy expensive things. If I get reminded one more time how economical or “cheap” all of your belongings are I am going to throw my iPad across the room. On the plus side, at least she isn’t 18 and a virgin. That is a refreshing change.
