I think the novel is done really, next Meng Hao either marries into the Song clan, or he escapes with the good luck charm, last few days I tried to read 5% of this daily, today I read about 7%
Tomorrow I finish it, and start a fun LitRPG novel.
But my return to I shall Seal the Heavens will be very soon, probably a novel or two away.
Er Gen is a master storyteller.

It's just me and this novel for the rest of today, but I might take time off to cook.

I can only read on kindle in this winter, poor Harry Potter got set aside again.
The events are breathtaking, a faster reader than me would probably finish the last 600 pages in 2 days maximum.

Awake at last, today is weird, I just woke up put a pillow behind my back, and I am just browsing the phone for the last 20 minutes.
I miss the days when I wake up excited to do more of something.
Play a game or read a novel, or even wake up to work something I love.
A life with no passion sucks.
Also I am lonely these days so excuse the oversharing updates, just trying to fill a void.

Chen Fan and the Ultimate Vexation are kindred spirits indeed, I hope Meng Hao gets rid of it by giving it to Chen Fan or something, it's way too annoying, and whatever usefulness it has isn't going to be apparent anytime soon, it's just a nuisance right now that I would rather see gone.

The last stretch, except that in a 1200 pages novel it's 300 pages which is bigger than most novels 😭

Maybe Meng Hao is the villain after all 😂
He is on a killing spree right noe because if he doesn't he will die instead because of his forming perfect dao pillar.

I was excited for Ultimate Vexation but it turned out to be incredibly annoying, hopefully Meng Hao can tame it somehow, because right now it's just a nuisance most of the time, and it didn't help at all so far.

Even though I knew from the beginning of the chapter that Ultimate Vexation was going to bond with Meng Hao it was still super entertaining and Boss move pretty simply.
Whoever recommended me this novel when I was looking for a cultivation novel to read deserves a truck load of thank you than what I gave him that day lol

I am not liking today very much.

This writer is brilliant I swear, one of the best plotters I ever read for.
I feel that maybe someone is imprisoned in Meng Hao's mirror and that he will eventually be in a bad situation because of it.
It would be a great plot, let's see how it goes.

The world of cultivation is really cruel and built on deceit and lies, very tough to mimic, I actually never saw it this way before now, but after the various plots about deceiving rogue cultivators, just to advance your own sect, I feel like I can do something similar in the future.
Today I feel really horrible honestly, I thought maybe because I didn't read enough, but now that I have, I know why I feel this way.

The rapist and his accomplice both killed in the most painful of ways, a feel good story, but it was too close for comfort there.

Honestly I shouldn't be sad that there is 600 pages left, I should wish there was 6000, this novel is really great.
I think Meng Hao will kill the cultivators who want to rape his former Sect comrade, even though it seems to me that the writer wants him to be in love with her, which is a little weird for me, they didn't see each other in ages, and she was never in love with him.

This came after he commented on how white the woman guiding him is.
I am not sure where this racist fascination with skin color comes from, Chinese people aren't even that white lol
Maybe it comes from the cultivation idea that the further you advance the fairer your skin becomes? Which is also racist, but at least it has bigot religious origin lol

Lol this is amazing, Meng Hao just crashed a secret meeting and when the last person arrived with his invitation and figured that Meng stole his spot and tried to kill him, Meng Hao killed him instead and took his invitation and produced it to the people around the table like he had it all along.
Such a badass move 😂
It's also great that he finally stole a new bag of holding.

70 pages update, it has been a long time since I made an update this big lol
It's crazy to me that Er Gen makes his plot from these prophetic words, because to us readers they make absolutely no sense, but 600+ pages later, they end up making all the sense in the world, and this time around I think we have some prophecies that will bear fruit 3000 pages later or something, it's absolutely bonkers!

The plot is simply epic, which Chinese god do I need to pray to, to become this talented?

There was a dog fighting the last few chapters, but this chapter it got hurt, but it's still alive.
And wow, I keep coming back for more because I am really invested in the story.
Also I hope Meng Hao does take the blood Divinity Mastiff out of the legacy with him, it would be great to see him with such a loyal companion.

I want to read Harry Potter but I can't since it's a physical book, this Chinese novel is on kindle so I can read while under the blanket.

Meng Hao will pass the fourth matrix thanks to his poisoned body, lucky bastard, I am confused now though what did the item he bought do for him?
Did it just make the poison not advance or something?

The Chinese simply excel in telling cultivation stories, they are their stories after all, but the level of imagination always leaves me blown away, maybe because this is my second cultivation novel (in the same series) but I feel like all the best series out of China from this genre will always blow me away like that, and I'll never be able to mimic their imagination.

This is really good, it's a big novel, and a big series about 10 books this is only the second.
But the second book being this good promises of a lot of fun in the future.

These 50 pages I read half of them last time but didn't update.
This part was really pervy a writer friend of mine complained about it to me and I was surprised because the writing didn't have that aspect so far.
The story is really exciting but as reading on the phobe strains my neck reading on kindle does the same.
I have no idea how to fix this.
