Status Updates From Tigana

God Dianora’s chapters are heartbreaking. She is a woman torn between so many worlds. Duty, love, and fate. But she seems at peace with what is coming.

I fear Dianora is not long for this world.

I love Marius. He’s chummy compared to all our depressed sad boy characters which is nice to counterbalance the despair.

Woah. The Dream Realm (?) segment was otherworldly. And Baerd being able to say Tigana and for others to hear it, god that hit.

Oh so the Carlozzini are a heretical cult. Interesting.

Oh so there is some eldritch ancient horror older than the Triad plaguing Certando. Intriguing.

This is a great cast of characters, my god. Alienor is a fascinating lady. Her… tryst with Devin and their conversation was illuminating.

So the people of Tigana are descended of gods, that wasnt just hogwash. Intriguing.

Oh something I didnt comment on but Dianora and Baerd… they were like… incestious? Im guessing weird trauma bonding? The way it was written was vague or Im obtuse.

Okay so the plan is to plant the seeds of dissension. And it’s working. And the Duke now looks like some Khardhu warrior through some unusual means. Interesting. Im really enjoying it but it is grim as hell.

I wonder what Baerd’s reaction will be when he finds Dianora. God this is getting so tangled and juicy. When all these threads intertwine, it’s going to be glorious.

Dianora being torn between love and hatred is so goddamn good. She came to Chiara with a mission in my mind: to kill the Tyrant Brandin. And yet a little over a decade has passed, and she is in her own way, fond of him. And has no saved him from an assassination attempt.

This world feels lived in. With the complex politics of the different regions, the mythology of Adaon, Eanna, and Morian. Sir Kay certainly knows how to paint a vivid picture of other worlds. And he can also make you feel deeply about characters you’ve known only a short while.

God this is so depressing. Having your entire civilization crushed and its memory wiped away by magic. Yeah, I dont know if Id be able to cope.

Dianora, my god. What an interesting character. Concubine to Brandin, from Tigana, sent to kill him. But the timing must be flawless, I suppose.
