Status Updates From Double Crossed (Sweet Valle...

How many teenage girls has Jessica Wakefield pushed to suicide? Should I have a running tally by now?

Love how upset at the idea that Jeremy is a gold digger, as if she didn't entertain gold digger status a time or two before 😂

"Let's face it - he's trying to look like Tom Selleck, but he's coming out like Gene Shalit." - Jessica's zinger on Todd is on point!

"For the first time in their lives I think they're actually embarrassed by what's happening" says Liz, about her parents' reaction to Jessica breaking up the wedding in the previous book, and all of the fallout since.

I find this very, very amusing for some reason. I think it's that word "actually" doing all that heavy lifting in that sentence, LOL.

For a moment Elizabeth was frozen in silence. Surely he must be kidding. That tan fuzz on his upper lip couple be there on purpose.

LMAO, Todd growing a mustache is an excellent comedic sideplot!

Wait, wait, wait - now Robby is only 18? And he took a year off between HS and college? And yet he and 23-year-old Jeremy are college buddies?? C'mon, ghosties, a little consistency is not a crime!!

Wow, Ned, "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" is the best you can come up with to 'punish' Jeremy?? And threatening Jessica with boarding school?? I can't wait to see what Jessica's engagement does to these plans LOL.
