Status Updates From The Last Unicorn

The bit with the Blue Jay seemed lowkey irrelevant but everything else is new and interesting 👀

Currently reading this in the new 2022 ACE edition vs. my old 1991 ROC paperback. It's hard to read without mental overlay from the movie. Sometimes I resist, sometimes I lean in. This read is for book club. Sadly, I think most of the people aren't going to have cared for it, but I'm hoping it will at least breed good discussion. So much pastiche.

The introduction made this book an instant favourite. I watched the movie before I realised it was a book. Bought the book because of the movie, now reading it because I’m drawing one more unicorn for the world! <3
