I am still reading (and enjoying!) this when I can (sorry Mr Gustafson.) Great writing/pacing/story/characters. Evocative flow :)

Great to have a kick arse (I can't bring myself to say 'kick ass') female protagonist.

Totally up for this book already. Hardboiled crime in a dust bowl setting with sweet Woolrichesque dialogue.

In keeping with alphabetical order, Coyote is next on my list. Then Throbbing Gristle, Necropolis & Rooster. In that specific order.

In my educated opinion of this book so far, I'd say it's a 'Quentin Tarantino'. And that is a complement. Everything is brisk, edgy - fast and slow at the same time. Ill clarify a bit more. The way the story is set up and the visual the author instills - it reminds me of a harsh, newly developing world that has no order. It's incredibly a modern western feel.
