Freedom is a higher value than love. That’s why in India, we call the ultimate Moksha, meaning freedom. Freedom is a higher value than love. So if love is destroying freedom, it is not of worth. Love can be dropped, freedom has to be saved; freedom is a higher value. And without freedom you can never be happy; that is not possible. Freedom is the intrinsic desire of each man, each woman – utter, absolute freedom.

In a village facing a drought, the citizens requested a rainmaker to make rain for their parched fields. He agreed and requested just a solitary cottage in the open country for three days. When on the third evening abundant rain fell he told a grateful crowd “For three days all I did was to put myself in order. For once I am in order, then the world will be in order, and the drought must yield place to the rain.”
