Status Updates From Skin & Sun

Finally got my hands on a copy of this beautiful book. Definitely will try to take my time with it and make it last as long as possible.

Work and school have been keeping me stressed, but I never fail to find snatches of time to devour Key Ballah's words. This collection of heartfelt, revolutionary, healing poems is not, imho, as glorious as "Preparing My Daughter for Rain." But she always speaks her own truths, perhaps with fear - definitely and defiantly with courage. I look forward to more. :)
