The Age of Discovery: Another enjoyable one

Building for Shah Jehan: A beautiful story that broke my heart.

Two Become One: skipped ahead to read this since the book is due to the library. I found it really interesting, but I wish a few things had been better explained.

Firstborn, Lastborn: I think it would be frustrating to read this as a standalone, but knowing there's another story and a novel in the same universe makes it just deliciously tantalizing. Looking forward to reading more.

Just realized that the Melissa Scott story I am about to read (Firstborn, Lastborn) was turned into a novel (Finders) that released today... I'd already recommended the book to my library even before I made the connection.

Crossing the Midday Gate: Gorgeous. Completely lived up to my hopes, which is saying a lot since this is the story that made me pick up the book in the first place. But Aliette de Bodard is always an incredible writer.

Of Wind and Fire: I loved this one.

Lots of exploration stories here, but Fieldwork stands out as doing a good job of weaving the science and the emotional stuff together.

Sensorium: Super interesting concept, but I wanted more story.
