This keeps surprising me. I’ll start each chapter feeling a little annoyed by the sheer ridiculousness of what l’m reading but every time I stick with it, the narrator’s absurdity gives way to some of the most truly insightful writing I’ve ever encountered. Each voyage into insanity yields a gem.

"Rara, sucia, solitaria, irónica, un poco de asco con sus descripciones. Un hombre solitario, culto por profesión, poco aseado, lunático por lo que sabe hacer, su mundo.." El libro no resulto trascendental ni deja claro lo que quiere contar. Así que cuando lo terminas te quedas perplejo. Una pretendida fábula con moraleja tan mal hecha que casi consigue lo contrario de lo que se propone"
