When Morley slayed the four Pyrnaq that Roftome had helped free, it felt wrong and evil. This changed how I feel about the series, and I was t sure I wanted to keep reading.

I hate when books are predictable. At one point there was a time where I actually said out loud, "now that's just stupid" when a character did something that I thought was ...well, stupid. And as I thought, it came back to bite him as a pivot point in the story. There had to be another way to make the event happen in a less predictable manner. But after that it's been better so I'll keep reading. But not 5 star good
