Spike was actually at the snake demon frat house?! You don’t say?! And he witnessed Mummy Girl?! You’re kidding me!!! Now hold on a hot second! Don’t you dare tell me that he witnessed one of the hottest lines of the show?!!! “WHEN I KISS YOU, I WANT TO DIE!” )Screams in alarmed 90’s fan-child).

Part 1 of progress review:
I love how the plot of this book follows thee olde trope of “what if a well known character WAS actually at several events that we, the audience were not aware of?!” Hmmmm…how ‘bout that?! And I respond with an overwrought HELL YES!

Something…effulgent. IYKYK.

Jesus, they had to open this with the single most worst plot line in Buffy? You guessed it, the SA in the bathroom scene. I have watched that episode only once when it originally aired over 20 years ago and here I am again experiencing the betrayal of character development that seemed forced and untrue to who both characters were. Anyway, reading Drusilla’s dialogue is even more draining than watching it.

Rage reading at this point tbh..

To be honest might have had too high expectations for this one, trying hard to not DNF it
