These are the opening lines and omg I love them. It's just so visual, and as a descriptive passage, it suits Riley down to the ground.

I really like the ideas of this author and partially enjoy her writing.That's why I continue reading her books, but her lack of logic and the childish behavior of her characters is really going on my nerves.
9 year olds, in Stephen king's stories are smarter and more mature than all of E.J. Russell characters combined!

So far not bad but like most works of this author, logic is a foreign concept to the main characters.

OMG Logan is a dick. How is acting like this giving yourself one more night with the man you love. Riley might as well be any old books you've picked up in a bar the way you're treating him!

This is all sorts of confusing, but I *think* I've got it sorted out now. I hope.
