Status Updates From Alice's Adventures in Wonde...

Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland ends just as abruptly as it starts. The story is quite weird, with older writing style I struggled to keep up with. It was refreshing to see the cute illustrations, and the first book was quite short. There were many scenes I don’t remember from either the live action or the cartoon version. Overall 2.5/5 so far.

I have read the first chapter once before, that was a very long time ago. I am not a great reader in fact, up till now I cannot get through a book at all. I always stope maybe 4 chapters in. This year I want to read as part of rehabilitation from being very unwell in hospital. My aim is to finish two books by new years. If I finish one that’d be a miracle to be fair. So, two books will be a total challenge.

I adored the first story! Growing up, Alice in Wonderland was one of those films I watched over and over again, so reading the original tale felt like a trip down memory lane. Rediscovering Wonderland through Lewis Carrol's words brought back the same sense of wonder I remembered from childhood.
