This is not really about Elon Musk but the important things related to him like sustainable energy (the topic in this part of the book).

The way this is written is so cool! Things are explained simply and with humor. I have highlighted many parts already!

Why people give up on sending people to the moon?

Those who like or manufacture gas car, keep saying ev is bad, like the battery manufacture cycle is bad to environment, even I think like this previous, I just biased and anyhow think it’s bad or let the social media or news influence me.

It’s really dangerous to just assume or conclude without thinking using first principle.

Even I’m reading story and history but I’m still reflecting.

Greed is the primary to move technology forward and the second reason is ambition which difficult to find among people, I honestly think I don’t have it as well. I just a greedy pig, hmm maybe not pig, just greedy.

A good way to further explain why industry doesn’t make thing better because harm is not significant and it’s not immediate, it explain the success of tobacco company, finance, political party.

Now it’s getting to the core of understanding of the problem. Telling me fossil fuel, burning is the oppose of photosynthesis, co2 is greenhouse gas etc.

I thought I’m going to read about mindset and action kind of stuff.

But I’m getting really like this book, as I quite good at physics last time when I was 19, I’m 33 now

First principles is the opposite of analogy, but I use analogy a lot to explain things, because if this, I could not innovate as much, as I’m engineering company, I should hire people who can use first principle damn well, by dig deep on problem solving related question

This is one of the book I liked so much, it make me felt how small I’m as compared to Elon, basically all the issue I face is actually not an issue. It is just information.

I'm damn excited after reading the review of this book! Must start to read this asap.
