Status Updates From Aurore of the Yukon: A Girl...

I'm enjoying this! Incidents are widely spaced out because Aurore is solely presenting major ones. She is a caring girl for her age, saving a dog from creepy thieves and intelligent, learning English quickly. Moving this story by way of events keeps the pace exciting and new. Side notes show what is real history versus Aurore's story. I am indeed confused about it being made up, or if she was real.

I didn't seem to fit in reading yesterday and this book wouldn't be long in finishing. I've started it this morning and am pleased to see I like it very much! A girl's thoughts travelling from train and ship from Montréal to the Yukon are expressed very vividly and empathetically. I'll woosh through this as soon as I sit down to a good, straight session.
