Status Updates From Promyczek (Promyczek, #1)

This book is unbearably bad.

This is miserable. Though I've never done it before - I am actually considering DNFing a book for the second time this week.

Are people from San Diego THAT annoying? She is caling people “dude” left and right even when she should be polite

Now she goes and says the rudest thing possible to someone she just met and her justification is “people aren’t as casual here” holy shit

And in 6% of this book she not only managed to sound like a caricature of an annoying person, have an entire internal monologue saying how she’s not like other girls aka doesn’t wear makeup or do her hair, and lastly but not less annoying she states she is a whooping 5 feet tall. Oh ma gad I’m sooooo tiny and a special snowflake~~~

So it’s pretty bad when the book starts with the character repeating the word “like” so many times in a single speech section. Sounds like when people make fun of people who say “like” every other word. But she’s serious so it’s even worse
