literally the only thing i can praise is the scene where
i can’t recall if it happened in book one or two

that’s how forgettable this story has been

that short as fuck scene where the fmc got into the machine to get her memories back
pain
and then her old self and her new self “met” and spoke
and it was nice bc she wasn’t a raging bitch

that was the only scene i cared for tbh

eugh

so at this point i’m not even going to bother listing all the shit thats happened so far

rn theyre splitting up again
it’s suddenly all action

and i’m still bored out of my head

mind keeps wandering

i’m finally getting to reading this

i always hold out hope books will suddenly improve with sequels

but meh

in fact just the vibe rn for me
i want to go back and reread a diff series altogether
the one with the girl going to college and finding out she’s the rarest dragon whatever

Why is nobody upset over the fact that Jeff drugged them? Nolan is always so quick to anger, but he’s okay with this because it means he gets a nap??? Huh??

*spoiler* The sex is fun and all, but Jeff just DRUGGED Melissa. She went to yell at him and now they’re having half-angry sex. I don’t like it. I feel like the fact that he drugged her needs to be properly discussed asap.

That scene with Dane withholding her orgasms was 🥵🥵🥵

Remember when Melissa thought having sex with anyone other than her one husband was sinful? Lmaoo look at her now. She’s sleeping with multiple men at the same time. You go, girl!!

I love how all the heroes have become more dominant sexually

They got over the fact that she ditched them for years so quick. They yelled at her for ten minutes and now everything is fine?? HOW?!?!?

“I’m going to assume that everyone here has already yelled at you, so I’m not going to, but if you ever so much as send me anywhere again without my say so, I’m going to spank your ass. Are we clear?” Suddenly, I want Melissa to send them away again.

Finally, we got a sex scene with more than one of the heroes! It’s a dream come true

Still waiting for Melissa to get railed by all the heroes at the same time…

Idk how tf Melissa hasn’t had a miscarriage considering all the near death experiences and stress she has.

There’s more relationship drama in this book and I’m happy about it because I’m a drama junkie. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m happy Cooper betrayed Melissa and lied about his sister because it’s making the book more interesting. And it makes him have more depth because in book one, he was seen as this perfect guy and it was boooring. Now, he has layers yay!

The narrator for this is different from the one in book numero uno and it’s making me uncomfy. I got so used to Melissa sounding like that, that it’s weird to listen to her sound like this.

*spoiler*At the part where she is in a ship with tara and are turning themselves over to olivia to overthrow her. Idk if it is 80% or not.
